Initiative
The Cleaner City Initiative is a corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative of Barseks Recycling, with the primary goal of immersing sustainability into the operations of, and spreading climate change awareness to, the masses, corporates, and government bodies in Nigerian cities. To accomplish this goal, we intend to create a system that will facilitate the collection of plastic waste from local consumers, businesses, markets, schools, residential and commercial premises all around Nigeria.
We intend to create an effective plastic collection system from identified CCI businesses. In doing this, we will place recycling cages around every city in Nigeria and in the above-mentioned locations to enable us to adequately collect, sort, dispose and recycle waste plastic.
